These terms are the agreement between you and Tablr when you use Tablr to run a shop, or when you order from a shop on Tablr. Please read them. By creating a shop or placing an order, you agree to them. How we handle your information is in our privacy policy.
1. Who we are
Tablr is run by Tablr Technologies, a business registered in Ghana, at Fetu St, Sakaman, Accra. In these terms, "Tablr", "we" and "us" mean that business. "You" means the person using Tablr. A "seller" is someone who runs a shop on Tablr, and a "customer" is someone who orders from one.
2. What Tablr does
Tablr lets sellers put their shop on one link, add their products and prices, and take orders from customers on their phones. Paid plans add online payment by Mobile Money and card, delivery fees and pickup.
Each shop belongs to its seller. When a customer buys something, the sale is between the customer and the seller. Tablr provides the tools for the shop and, for online payments, works with our payment partner to keep the money safe until the order is delivered. We are not the seller of any product, and we do not make, store or deliver anything sold on Tablr.
3. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a code we send by SMS. Keep your phone and SIM safe: anyone who can receive your codes can open your shop.
You must be at least 18 years old to run a shop.
Give us true information about you and your shop, and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for what happens in your shop, including anything done by someone you let use your phone.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your shop.
4. Plans and billing
Tablr has a Free plan and paid plans, Starter and Pro. What each plan includes and costs is on our pricing page. Prices are in Ghana cedis.
Paid plans are billed every month, or every three or twelve months if you choose, and are paid by Mobile Money. We remind you before each payment is due.
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
Tablr never takes a commission on your sales. Our income is the plan price only.
If we change a plan's price, we tell you at least 30 days before your next payment at the new price.
5. Plan limits and missed payments
The Free plan has a limit on products and on orders each month. When a shop reaches the monthly order limit, new orders pause until the next month or until you upgrade. The shop and everything in it stay online.
If a payment for a paid plan is missed, your shop stays online, but paid features such as online payment pause until the plan is renewed. Nothing is deleted.
6. Payments and buyer protection
Online payments on Tablr are processed by our payment partner. To take online payments, a seller adds a Mobile Money number. We check the name on that number with our payment partner and the seller confirms it. Tablr itself never holds the money.
How buyer protection works
When a customer pays online, the payment partner keeps the seller's money safe until the order is delivered.
The money is released to the seller's Mobile Money when the seller enters the customer's delivery code, when the customer confirms they received the order, or 3 days after the seller marks the order as sent if the customer has not reported a problem.
Once released, the money cannot be taken back through Tablr.
If a customer reports a problem before the money is released, the Tablr team looks at what both sides say. Proof such as the delivery code or a photo of the delivery helps us decide. We may refund the customer from the held money, release it to the seller, or split it.
The payment partner's processing fee is paid by the customer. It is shown and added to the total before they pay online.
Pay on delivery and other payments
When a customer pays on delivery, by a direct Mobile Money transfer or in any way agreed on WhatsApp, the money goes straight between the customer and the seller. Buyer protection does not cover these payments, and Tablr cannot refund them.
7. What sellers agree to
Only sell products you are allowed to sell, and describe them honestly, with true photos and prices.
Deliver what customers order, when you said you would, or let them know quickly if you can't.
Keep to the returns and exchanges promise you show on your shop.
Use your customers' details only to handle their orders and talk to them about them, unless they agree to more. See our privacy policy.
You are responsible for any taxes, permits and records your business needs.
8. What is not allowed
You may not use Tablr to sell or offer:
anything illegal in Ghana, including drugs, weapons, and stolen or smuggled goods;
fake or counterfeit products, or anything that copies another business's brand;
medicines that need a prescription, or products that make false health claims;
adult content, gambling, or anything that harms children;
products or services you don't intend to deliver.
You also may not pretend to be someone else, send spam, try to get into other people's shops, copy Tablr or the shops on it with automated tools, or interfere with how Tablr works.
9. Your photos and content
The photos, names, descriptions and other content you add to your shop remain yours. You give Tablr permission to store, show and share them as needed to run your shop, for example on your shop page and in the link previews on WhatsApp and Instagram. We will ask before using your shop in our own marketing.
Only add content you have the right to use. If you remove a photo, we delete it from our storage.
10. Ordering from a shop
When you order, you are buying from the seller, not from Tablr. The seller is responsible for the product, the delivery and any returns.
The seller may confirm the price, delivery and payment with you on WhatsApp.
If you paid online and something goes wrong with your order, tell us before the money is released to the seller. See section 6.
Your details go to the seller so they can deliver your order. Our privacy policy explains more.
11. Closing or suspending a shop
You can stop using Tablr and ask us to close your shop at any time.
We may pause or close a shop that breaks these terms, puts customers at risk, or that we are required to close by law. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it. If money is held for a shop we close, it is released or refunded under section 6.
12. Keeping Tablr running
We work to keep Tablr online and your shop available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop a feature you pay for, we tell you in advance.
13. Limits on our liability
As far as the law of Ghana allows, Tablr is not responsible for products sold by sellers, for what sellers or customers do, or for losses that come from interruptions to the service, such as lost sales. Our total responsibility to a seller for any claim is no more than the plan fees they paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. If you have a problem with Tablr, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. If we can't, the courts of Ghana will decide.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Tablr changes. If a change matters, we tell sellers in the dashboard or by SMS before it takes effect. Using Tablr after that means you accept the new terms.
